What are the sturdiest though sexiest looking cases for the iPhone 17 PM? Need something that protects the whole thing. Not a fan of screen covers.

For the iPhone 17 Pro Max, it really depends on how you balance sturdiness vs looks. Here are the best cases I’ve tried in the past:

  • OtterBox Defender – absolute tank. Probably the sturdiest out there, but it’s chunky and not exactly “sexy.”

  • Spigen Ultra Hybrid – slim, minimal, and shows off the phone. Protection is okay for everyday use, but I wouldn’t trust it for big drops.

  • Casetify Impact – tons of designs and customization options. Style is the main selling point, though they can get scratched up over time.

  • Apple TechWoven case – sleek and very “Apple.” Feels nice in hand, but it’s light on real drop protection.

The one I’ve stuck with lately is Dropguys. It’s clear and slim like the Spigen, but drop-tested to 10ft. The case itself has slightly raised edges that give decent screen protection without feeling bulky. Bonus: they include a free screen protector if you do change your mind later.

So if you want pure armor → OtterBox.
If you want stylish customization → Casetify.
If you want slim but still rugged → Dropguys has been the best middle ground for me.

@ammarb87 , you could look at Amazon or EBay, they have full cover cases. I got one from Amazon and it covers it  beautifully, have had it for nearly one year with my IPhone 16 Pro Max and still works the same as when I bought it.

If you want something protective but not bulky, I'd look at Case Collection. Their iPhone 17 Pro Max cases have 10 ft drop protection, use TPE Layer, and have a soft microfibre lining inside. You can pick from loads of designs , Worth checking
