Hi,
I have an iPhone with o2 and recently purchased an Apple Watch which I have set up using this phone. I now want to set up a phone line on this phone for my son. I can’t do this with 02 but EE have a stand-alone watch plan - £7. I need to set up an initial phone sim for £14 a month but I understand I can then cancel/convert this to the £7 standalone plan. However nobody in sales/ tech that I have spoken to today knows how to do this. Anyone got any ideas?! Thanks

No the iPhone was brought last year and not on contract but her sim only contract is on the account that the Apple Watch is on?

Hi @Molly1992.
If you have a pay monthly SIM on the same account, you will be able to pair these together at no additional cost.

Ah that’s perfect thank you. It says the watch comes with unlimited data, call and texts will that just not be used and the number will just appear for billing only then?

Hi @Molly1992.
I have just taken a look at the Apple Watch Plans.
The Unlimited Unpaired Plan will have its own number and use its own allowances.
If you have purchased a paired plan then this will connect to your iPhone.

It has a number and says it’s a family member plan on the order details.
can I still pair it to the iPhone and sim only contract?

Hi @Molly1992.
This plan will have its own mobile number and allowances.
If you want to be able to pair to your SIM only contract please give us a call.

I’ve brought as a present for my daughter for Xmas so would I not be able to pair it with her phone on Xmas day?
I don’t really want to do anything with it before then

Hi @Molly1992.
The family plan can't be paired with another line.
I would recommend giving us a call and our customer care team can look into this further and ensure you are on the most suitable plan.
