Apple Watch series 8 delivery

Anyone else having problems with EE in relation to the delivery of the series 8? Pre ordered mine yesterday and was told that over the phone it will be delivered on launch day.  Spoke to EE again this morning and it’s now changed to 3 weeks!

Mate the apple website says that they won’t have stock until Oct 17th!

The delivery guidance in the online shop is for brand new orders being placed today.

EE have spoke to me about an hour ago and said that there’s a supply issue and any orders from the 13th onwards will be delivered within 2 weeks.

I’m happy with that but why say on the call yesterday that the watch will be delivered on Friday.

The agent you spoke to would be sharing the latest delivery guidance available at that time. I'm sorry if the information you were given is no longer accurate.

The data was changed to reflect the new delivery times on the 13th and I called on the 14th.

 Ordered mine on preorder day. No news from ee yet however my plan has changed and the ee order tracker says it’s been dispatched but nothing on dpd yet. I’m confident it will arrive tomorrow. I do have a phone coming tomorrow from ee too which is on dpd.  Never known ee to package to devices together so I know it’s just the phone on dpd for now.

Can I ask what you see in the App if you are waiting for the watch order? I wasn't expecting it on launch date as I only ordered mid-week but one call handler told me it would definitely be here today and another within 14 days 😃

My biggest concern is that I pre-ordered mine on Wednesday (by Phone) but I've not received any email or text confirmation. There is nothing showing in my app either. I have phoned up a couple of times and assured that it is on order but it seems strange I don't have a confirmation number.

If your watch is not due today are you able to see the confirmed order anywhere?
