I was using EE pay as you go plan. I bought an Apple Watch 8 (Cellular+GPS) from Apple and paired with my iphone XS. After I failed to activate Cellular on watch, I called EE technical support. The representative asked me to upgrade to monthly plan (no Frills SIM) as apple watch cellular was not supported on pay as you go. The rep upgraded me to no Frills SIM monthly plan on the call, and asked me to wait for 24 hrs. After 24 hrs, the watch's cellular still won't work. I called technical support again, and the rep told me no Frills plan does not support Apple watch cellular, and the plan cannot be upgraded! I am shocked and left with a cellular watch not working with an incompatible plan. Pls advise how do I solve this problem.
