Answerphone playback on iphone

When someone left me an answerphone message I was previously able to listen to that recording directly on my iphone without needing to call to listen. 
Since my contract change that doesn’t happen anymore but I can’t seem to find an option to turn it back on.

Sounds like you may have been using visual voicemail and have now reverted to standard VM instead.
