If you have the unlocking code, put a non-EE sim in the phone and try putting in the last 8 digits first and followed by the first 8 digits. Or if you have 2 separate codes, enter the unfreeze code followed by the unlocking code with no space in between.

Hi @mell70

Welcome to the EE Community pages.

You can unlock your handset immediately using our online unlocking form on our unlock an EE device to use with another network page, where you can also check if the device is already unlocked.

For devices that are not recognised or supported, you'll need to call Customer Care team who can raise a manual request for the device unlock code directly from the manufacturer.

If this the case, it can take between 3 - 14 days working days for the manufacturer to get back to us with the code for your device.

Hope this helps!

they've been back to me saying my unlock request has been completed.. sent me an unlocking code, and a unfreeze code it says follow the link to complete, after completing a couple of the steps on the link the link then proceeds to stop working..even the lady from ee tried it this morning and it didn't work for her...seems like your making an easy job very hard ee...not happy....

@mell70

The unlocking process and codes are created by the manufacturers.

Which make of handset are you trying to unlock?

And can you tell us which step of the process it stops working?

@mell70

As the IMEI isn't being recognised through the online unlocking page it will be best to call back through to Customer Service so a guide can raise a manual unlock request for you.

@mell70

Have you tried using this code that you have received?

You just need to pop a non-EE SIM card into the phone, it will ask you to enter the unlock code.

Once accepted your device should be unlocked.
