Why is the Pixel 9 Pro showing as more expensive than the Pixel 9 Pro XL?

I'm looking to upgrade my phone and the Pixel 9 Pro is showing as more expensive per month than the Pixel 9 Pro XL, this is with the same deposit cost. The Pro XL is supposed to be the more expensive model, why is it cheaper? I don't want the larger phone, but feel like I'm being forced to choose the larger model at the cost of a cheaper monthly contract. Would love some insight as to why this is.

Hi @MattJP93,

Welcome to the EE Community

Normally the Pixel 9 Pro XL would be more expensive than the 9 Pro as you mentioned. Up until 27th March we are running an offer on both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL to make them available at discounted rates, this is why currently the phone is cheaper than the 9 Pro which is not part of the discounted offer.

It's always been that way. I've had mine a year now, but I wanted the larger phone for bigger buttons, less typos.  They just said smaller might be more fiddly to put everything together.
