I just upgraded my mobile phone and BT landline contract. I only did so under the express understanding that I have poor mobile coverage and needed WiFi calling if I were to reduce the landline to a basic tariff.
On trying to setup WiFi calling, and after checking both the phone, self-help, Samsung help and EE help who all suggest there should be - it doesn't seem to be supported. The phone seems to have some intelligent Wi-Fi alternative, but right now I can't even find that sub-menu again.
Nor does it seem i can speak to anyone unless I travel 50 miles round trip to a store.
So 1) can anyone help 2) why do both Samsung and EE refer to a icon to switch it on, when plainly I do not have this. AND I need it for the phone to be useful.
Thanks in advance.

You have a short time after posting, to edit, negating the need for short follow-ups. You've also not said which menus you've looked in, to find the WiFi-calling options.
On most Samsung phones, WiFi-calling is under phone settings, following the 3 dots in the top-right of the dialler.
