Unlock samsung phone

I have followed the instructions for unlocking my Samsung phone, I get the 16 digit code. 

The instructions then send you back to the page that has no other instructions and does not at all tell you how to unlock the phone. 

I followed online instructions to get the unlock pin request up on the phone but the 16 digit code is not right for this? It now asks for a MCK code. How do I get this and how do I unlock the phone?

Also, EE update your instructions to not be useless!

Hi All, turns out the last two steps are missing. SAMSUNG phones.

Once you get the 16 digit unlock code it is actually the first 8 numbers to unlock the phone. If for some reason it asks you for an MCK code then this is the last 8 numbers. 

This should work as I have just done this and indeed it worked. 👏🏻😊

What if you do not have another sim card from a different network?

Turn your phone off put in your new sim card turn the phone back on then it will ask for your unlocking code ...

That 16 digit code is actually split in sections the first 8 numbers is actually the code for unlocking your phone and the 2nd  8 numbers is  MCK code if you are locked out by trying too many times to unlock your phone  you put this code to un freeze  it .... when you've done this it automatically  unlocks your phone and you can then use your new sim .....
