Hello
I have a really old phone Samsung S6. I was charging the device, it reached 84% when I removed it from the charger to switch on, however the device no longer switches on. The device was fine yesterday.
Please help a damsel in distress.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Shauni999
Thanks for coming back to the community.
If the steps on the link from @bristolian don't get it working for you, give our tech guides a call from another phone and they'll see if there is anything else to try.
You can also visit an EE store for them to look at the phone and see if it can be repaired. The only thing with the repair is that as it is an older model, it would be outside the warranty so there would be a charge for any repairs. The store would let you know more on that before anything is carried out.

Hi bristolian
Thank you so much for your reply. I've tried everything on the link provided. I've just tried to charge it again but now it doesn't appear to be charging even though yesterday it charged perfectly fine - showing 84% Do you think the battery could have gone now even though it charged fine yesterday?

Hi Michael
Tried the steps on the link but still not working. I'll pop in a store tomorrow.
Thank you

Thanks for coming back to us @Shauni999.
It could be the battery, but equally could be the phone, it is a difficult one to tell when there is nothing happening with it.
Please keep us posted with how you get on in the store.
