Samsung a17 compatibility with Samsung wear 6 lte

I know from Samsung that the Samsung a17 5g is compatible with the Samsung wear 6 lte watch  but is that phone supported by EE with an esim.

I have not bought yet I am looking and need to make sure it works it will be a UK edition

No then as the UK version (SM-A176B)  is dual SIM according to Samsung

It seems no version of this phone is esim compatible regardless of what some sites say.
