Retrieving photos on water damaged phone

Is it possible for EE to retrieve photos on a broken phone? Unfortunately I don't think I backed them up. I spoke to someone from EE on the phone when I was sorting out an early upgrade and I'm sure he said something about EE being able to retrieve photos in store but I can't remember exactly.

Hi @ness1195

Unfortunately, EE are unable to retrieve photos from a customers phone.

What device do you have?

  1. Connect the mobile to PC by a USB cable.
  2. Look in Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) for a top-level folder with name of your mobile model.
  3. Open it & then open the folder DCIM.
  4. There lies your photos.
  5. From there you may copy them to anywhere on PC.

There's nothing a network operator can do in this circumstance, beyond that which anyone with a PC/laptop could.

The process is explained in the previous post from today @ 0932.
