Currently on holiday in Australia and my galaxy s24 is in flight mode and locked . It doesn’t seem to recognise my password , and each time I try it locks for longer now on 24hrs any ideas on how to unlock it please

You're effectively asking how to bypass a device PIN - by design it can't be done without performing a factory reset.
