One contact diverting to voicemail

When my wife calls it goes straight to my voicemail without ringing, I get a missed call alert afterwards. I have tried the following: deleted the contact and set it up again, made sure I haven't accidentally blocked her or flagged her number as spam, and I have cleared all forwarding.

On her phone it shows as call forwarded. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. It is only this number that this happens with. My phone is a pixel 8 pro

Please dial ##002# to remove all diverts then send sms to 150 by writing

VM OFF

after getting confirmation send one more sms

VM ON

This process will deactivate and activate your voicemail issue.

Hopefully this will resolve the problem and if not then please test by inserting this sim card to another phone and make a test call from your wife’s number to see if phone is causing the issue if on second phone it works well

Hi @Martyn74

  • What phone does she have and what network is she on.
  • Can you phone her without a problem.

Thanks

The process described in the second post above is an attempt to cancel and reset all unconditional diverts and would only work if all incoming calls are affected. Yours does not seem this case.

If your wife calls your phone with her number withheld, are the symptoms the same? This would eliminate whether CLI is a factor in this issue.
