New Samsung S22 Phone

I recently purchased the above phone and couldn't get the sim swap to work when I rang they said it didn't matter as it was already registered, great I thought, but I have to keep registering my phone to my mobile network as it keeps saying can't register and when I check About Phone on setting my Mobile number is all zeros. any idea what is going on anyone?
