Internet connection issues when using data especially on the national lotteryapp

Please can you help,

I am having issues when I try to connect to the national lottery app when I am away from my home WiFi. Do you think there is a setting that I am over looking?

I know that the location setting on my device has been enabled.

Regards

Hi @Ian1100

Welcome to the community.

I know you mentioned that you don't think you have any parental controls. Could you just give it a check in your EE account, to make sure please? You can find the steps to do it here on our How do I turn on parental controls on mobiles help page.

Hi @Ian1100

It would help if you explained the issue, if you're abroad or using a VPN it won't connect becase it is UK access only.

  • What device are you using.
  • Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
  • Is the lottery app up to date.

Or is it age restrictions.

Thanks

Hello,

My phone is an android Motorola g31 which is a Pay as you go.

I am in the UK.

The app is up to date.

All the relevant phone permissions are enabled. The attached image is from app which  shows the connection error via my data. The second image is of the app working fine via my wifi.

As far as I am aware my phone doesn't have any parental controls switched on.

Do you think my EE account has some kind default parental control activated?

Regards

Ian

On PAYG you can't control Content Lock from your MyEE. Instead you need to call EE with a credit card handy & pay a refundable token amount to prove you are over 18. Alternatively you can visit an EE store with some photo ID.
