Google Pixel Fold on EE

What's the story on the shiny new Google Pixel Fold?

Will it be coming to EE?

When will pre-orders open?

How are the contract offers priced?

As a Galaxy Z Fold 3 user I am ready to pull the trigger on this upgrade. Take my money EE!

Dont ever rely on the website to register for the pixel fold as it never ever works. I use to do it myself, register for certain types of phones over the years and all I got back was confirmation stating I have registered. I never got an email/reply to say the item is in stock or to even contact EE . (Just a waste of time if you ask me) 

I prefer to check websites or just contact EE.

I guess I may be one of the lucky ones as I have my order number for the pixel fold . (I did pre order 30 may)

EE website no longer shows the pixel fold. They don't even put and explanation on their website so customers are aware of the reason pr why.

Hopefully those who still want one will be able to pre order soon as they come available again.

You ccan always contact EE direct and try and get and answer as to what exactly is happening with pre orders or why their website now shows a blank screen regarding the fold.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't receive an email about this and I appear to have missed the boat. A banner stating that they had sold out and whether they were expecting more would have been helpful. Instead of removing all existence of the device from the website. Terrible communication to customers!

Is the pixel fold pre orders still going ahead at lauch which hopefully is still 27/28 June or as the date changed .

Is there anything you can tell us or confirm since the pixel fold is now taken off your website.

The pixel fold as been removed from the EE website due to low stock levels. I guess the demand for the pixel fold is bigger than what  Google anticipated, so they didn't supply than many.

If EE was to keep the pixel fold on the website it will just mean they will end up with a bag log and customers will not be able to get a fold until a later date . Which I guess no one is sure of at the moment.

I should still be getting mine on the release date.

Keep your eyes on the website and don't bother registering as it never works .I have tried it over the 7 years and never got a reply to state they have stock in.  Call them and keep your eye on the website is the best option . Thats how I got mine. 

Anyone else got a pre order confirmed .

I guessed that was the problem, but completely removing it with no explanation is plain bad communication to their customers. All other carriers at least still display the plans for the phone

I pre-ordered my Pixel Fold on 01/06/23 and have heard NOTHING since. I've been in constant contact with the sales representative that I placed my order with, but he keeps replying that Google are not telling EE any dates. He went onto say that they've been told to stop taking pre-orders.

How did you place your order?

We have been advised by Google that due to global overwhelming demand, they are not able to provide guidance on future stock availability from 7 June 2023. As a result, we have made the decision to not take further pre-orders on the Google Pixel Fold. In the meantime customers can pre-register their interest for Pixel Fold at What's new at EE, and we'll contact them once stock becomes available.

Hello,

I called and asked about upgrading my handset to a Pixel Fold on the 1st June.  The sales representative said it would be a pre-order as the handset was stated for a end of June release. I said that was fine, went through the process and was informed that the handset would be mailed out to me the day before official release so I would receive it the day of release. At the time Google themselves were stating an end of June release window. Now, as time has gone on, the representative has been unable to provide an update on the release date and went on to inform me that they were no longer taking pre-orders but those that have have already pre-ordered would still receive the handset soon, before the end of August date now quoted by Google. I'm obviously still waiting.

As soon as there is an update regarding taking orders our what's new page will be updated. I would also recommend registering your interested so you are notified right away.
