Hi all
We recieved S6 Lite with a recent upgrade of our phoneline.
Decided to give to the little boy at Christmas but wife forgot the password she set it up with.
Tried a few things from the forum and wider internet to reset it but nothing worked.
Would anyone know if an EE store (with technicians) could assist or with it coming straight from Samsung would they suggest I raise with them?
Thanks

Fundamentally, EE as a network operator, don't have any control over device-level security. Also you're effectively asking how to bypass a device PIN - if there were methods to do so, then security is inherently weakened.
You've not said what it is that you've tried, but essentially - to preserve the security of stored data - the only certain way to remove a PIN is to factory reset the device and lose all data from it.

Thanks @bristolian
That link is helpful in that it I think we need to let the power run down, as we can't switch it off, to try the recovery mode we have been attempting to access.
Don't mind the loss of data as nothing on there!
Will report back if i get it going.
Thanks again
