I have just joined EE.
Could somebody explain to me why, when calling EE using 150, it turns on my front facing camera without notifying me or asking for permission to do so.
That is complete invasion of privacy and something that I will be exploring in a legal manner, unless somebody from EE can advise how this can be disabled.

@Mahneb That’s got nothing to do with EE they don’t control features of your device.
Ie you control those features.

@Chris_BIt has everything to do with EE.
I have had many Sims from 3, O2 & Vodafone and it did not happen with those companies.
So please stop calling me an idiot and if you have anything constructive to say please say it. Otherwise just keep quiet.
I want an answer to the question not a complete denial.
I have filmed it and will be posting this on all social media platforms unless I get a answer.
Yes, you can try to block me but the issue won't go away.

Hi @Mahneb
What device?
You see a green light on the Samsung handsets (top corner) as it is a warning/security feature that your device is using the microphone or camera. It also happens when you receive/making a call as your device is using the microphone. It might activate when using certain apps.
Its not that somone is covertly watching you. This might be what you're seeing.
Thanks

@Mahneb Where did I call you an idiot? EE do not control features of your device.

@Mahneb , you may want to check your settings, as have never heard this. You may have camera set to on, when making a call, EE do not set it on themselves, and have no control over your phone’s settings.
Why on earth would they switch your camera on? This would be down to you, and not sure that EE customer service do video calls, which is what it would entail, and you would then see each other.
@Chris_B , never called you an idiot, what he wrote is correct, you control the features on your phone, no need to be rude when someone is trying to help you.
It has never happened to me or others, for that matter,, so must be something to do with your settings, worth taking a look.
