Hello!
Is it possible to post updates on the ongoing issues with television orders please?
Thursday I placed an order and paid the deposit, with delivery due Monday, after waiting in I called up to find out that the order did not process and nothing was on the system other than the £20 deposit.
After discussion with the agent, they attempted to reorder the TV but kept running in to problems, it was recommended that I placed the order online, so that went through and I paid another £20 deposit.
After receiving the initial order confirmation email I waited until the following day and decided I would call to understand if this order processed okay, the agent on the phone said they had been having on going issues and the order was on hold.
It would be good to understand how long these issues are going to take to resolve, just so I can plan on being at home when I will be receiving the order.
Thanks,
Shaun

@shaunmills I doubt it. Mainly because this forum has nothing to do with orders or ordering. Not sure why you actually placed another order Have you been refunded from the first order?

Thankfully yes after confirming today, they have refunded that.
I am not looking for specific order updates, more of an update on the problem with processing orders, just thought it saves everyone calling 150 🙂

EE sell televisions. This Community is for, among other things, problems with EE.
If I had a problem with ordering a TV from EE, and wanted to post about it on the Community, I would choose Home Services/TV.
But you say the forum has nothing to do with orders or ordering. Though if it was EETV being ordered, rather than a TV from EE, it would be very much relevant.
How do we square this particular circle?

@shaunmills you’ve misunderstood what I’ve said, And the opening line of “Is it possible to post updates on the ongoing issues with television orders please?”. Is that EE or the customer? It can be taken both ways and I took as updates from EE not the customer.
By all means the customer can post what ever updates they like but EE will not be doing updates with any ordering issues as that can start all sorts of other issues. ie the me too brigade when their problem is totally something else.
