TV homescreen

I am new to EE TV having switched from Virgin on price. I find the home screen extremely unfriendly. There is always a background of a programme I have no interest in. All I really want is a channel list (I don't need pictures just names and perhaps channel numbers). I would like to have a folder with links to my favourite channels INCLUDING BBC RADIO 4!!! 

Does anyone know of a way to customise the homescreen (not background colour, brightness etc) to simplify it and speed up channel choice?

Unfortunately there's no way to customise the home screen, however you can customise the list of channels in your TV Guide - simply press the TV guide button on your remote control and then press the Yellow button. 

You don't need to show the home screen at all if you don't want to - just use the TV Guide button instead of the Home button when you want to change channel.
