As a long-standing Sky subscriber, I've just moved away from Sky Stream (Puck) and taken out EE TV, and have been blown away! It has far exceeded my expectations and I wish I'd switched sooner. The biggest selling points for me were IP TV and the hardware - an Apple 4K TV box.
Yes, it lacks some Sky features but the EE TV app has most things you need - a nippy TV guide and no lag across the various screens. I love how ITV integrates from the ITV X App into your TV guide along with the Sky channels via NOW.
I feel the EE-supplied remote is better than the Apple remote - the buttons are less clunky and make navigating menus and Apps smoother. The extra buttons which bring additional features are also very welcome.
Picture quality is superb, and switching channels and navigating menus/Apps is way faster than Sky Stream.
EE have nailed the TV experience! How they've achieved this is one App is some achievement - and the bonus of having it on an Apple 4K TV box makes this a real champion.
