Hi,
I am confused now! I have Sport 4K.
As far as I was aware, this doesn't include any golf as Sky has the UK rights to both The Masters and The Open.
However, when I clicked on what I get in my profile etc, I found this...
This is great news. Trouble is, is it actually correct? If so, what channels do I need come this July to watch the golf?
Many thanks.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@BristolCityFC I've fed this back with our support teams to check the landing page and see if we can get this corrected, but we aren't able to specifically raise individual complaints via these forums.
If you were looking to discuss this in greater detail, I'd recommend getting in touch with our dedicated complaints team, where they can take a look into your options moving forwards.

Hey there @BristolCityFC.
Welcome to the EE Community, and thanks for taking the time to flag this too.
If possible, are you able to send me over a link to the page that you're seeing this on?
I can absolutely get this double checked for you 😊

Hi Peter,
I went via the ee tv app.
The link is seen on the top of these pics.
https://ee.co.uk/plans-subscriptions/tv
So, I take it I can, therefore, watch the golf in July (he asks hopefully but expecting it to be no).
Thanks Peter.

Golf's not my sport, and I'm with Virgin Media for my pay-TV, but all that said..
Which specific golf tournament are you looking for? My perception is that Sky Sports have these mostly sewn up, but take a look over https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_broadcasting_contracts_in_the_United_Kingdom to make sure.

It's presented in such a way as to suggest golf, and the other sports, are included but they aren't. Each sub heading, such as "TNT Sports Channels" refers to to the bit below it. So "Included with your package" refers to the bit below about being able to add/remove extras on a monthly basis.
Of course everyone can "Watch these competitions" if they subscribe to or add the relevant package.
It's a subtle attempt to get people to sign up thinking they're getting far more than they actually are. Based upon the way they've laid out that screen shot, it's bordering on false advertising in my opinion. It's ambiguous to say the least and easy to see why many would assume that those sports are included.

It seems to be a basic error which really should not be occurring if adequate quality controls were in place.
The competitions listed as available in the package should be accurate at the point in time the communication is made.

Thanks for sharing that, @BristolCityFC.
Have you been on this package for a while? I'm not seeing an option called Sport 4K available to new customers, and none of our existing pages show what you've shared.
Also I've fed this back to our team, and one thing I'd just like to check is if you have any other passes active, such as ones providing NOW access?

Hi Peter
The whole transfer from leaving Sky to EE TV was an absolute disaster with broken promises and fixes that created so much stress as a result. It has mow been resolved, fortunately. We migrated from Sky only 2 months ago. We have been with BT then EE for 6 years.
I do not have any other passes. Only TNT Sports. The EETV app was only obtained 2 months ago onto my Android phone. This is the only app I use to record any programme (another separate issue of false information but we can ignore this).
Thanks.

I am more than happy to work with EE and share more information should it be rquired. Please feel free to PM me.
Many thanks.

@BristolCityFC I've gone ahead and fed this back now, and at the moment we should have everything we need.
I'm afraid it won't be possible for us to bring you The Open via TNT though, as when checking into this it's definitely Sky that offer this.
If we get any further examples of this error appearing or need more details I'll absolutely let you know.
