With sports package, do I have to take any action to upgrade to HD? If I take out Full sports package will Sky Sports be in HD, I took out broadband, phone and TV in October.

You need to phone up and recontract or 'flex' to the package as I understand it

Just upgraded on the app, less than 5 minutes later watching Sky Sports in full HD, quick and seamless, fully worth it
