New EE TV app on iPhone = New problems, old ones remain

IPhone 15 pro

ios 26.0.1

EETV App 7.0.0

Old problem - when pairing a iPhone or iPad with the box it still reports that iPhone 15 or iPad has connected to the box but list all items as Mobile Device in the list of paired items. 

New problem - the list of scheduled recording used to be listed in the app in the order they are on. Now they are in a sort of reverse order. Some programs missing. Some on series record only have some recordings listed when compared to what is listed on the EE TV list. 

New problem - can’t remove items from recordings history.

Bit weird no one else is having these issues?

We've started rollout very slowly - currently only 1% of devices. This is so we can catch issues without affecting everyone at the same time.

You're one of the lucky few that Apple randomly chose to be in the first batch. 

I do think there's something very specific about your situation though, as it hasn't been raised in the trials we've been running with a few hundred users for the last 2 months. Hopefully we'll find out early next week.

I’ve removed the app from my iPad to see if that old version is causing some sort of issue. 

Would a reset of the box but keeping the recordings over the weekend be worth doing?

That's a shame, as the old app would have been a good comparison. There's no way that apps on other devices could cause this. 

A reset may help your situation, but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't - we'd rather make sure the app handles it better, and we need your help to do that.

Also just seen there is another way to delete scheduled recording by clicking the pen at the top, selecting the circle next to a scheduled recording and then clicking the dustbin icon.  
This method works. 

except when you first go into the screen from the recordings tab there is no pen. Only when you switch back and forth between tabs does the pen appear on the scheduled recordings tab. 

to reproduce go to MyTV, Recordings, list of recordings appears, click on Scheduled and four out of five times then pen is missing. Click to another tab and back to scheduled and chances are the pen is there.

The app is back on the iPad now 

Did it install the old app? I would expect it to only offer the new app for new installs.

Further update. 
Checked wife’s iPhone 15 Plus and she was on 6.4.3. All looked good. 
Updated to 7.0.0 and same issues now on her phone.
