We have NOW TV through our EE package.

it says on EE that we can watch on our EE TV box and one other device, yet this doesn’t seem to work. If someone is using on iPad or laptop we can’t use on the TV box.

anyone else having the same problems ?

It's normally the other way around that you have the issue - as long as you start watching in the app on a different device first, then you can use the TV Box channels without issue.  It's when you're watching on the TV Box that it prevents you using the app.

That isn’t what is happening.

If my son watches on his laptop when I try to use the Now TV app on my box it says someone else is streaming.

we also have 2 TV boxes, so surely we should be able to watch programmes on both separately?

@StephenRyan ah, you're trying to use the app. Do the Now TV channels on your TV Box work when your son is streaming?  If that works, can you please try changing the TV Box to BBC One, before then launching the NOW app.

I have tried streaming on my iPad and watching now Tv channels on the TV box, which works ok, but still can’t stream on iPad and TV box at the same time. Nor can we stream on both TV boxes at once.

I can only assume that your concurrency is locked - NOW think you have something running that isn't.  Unfortunately we don't have any access to that system, so you'd be best contacting NOW for help.

Can you confirm that I should have access on 2 devices ? Now website says 1, EE says 2

They have a specific help section for EE TV customers too:
https://www.nowtv.com/gb/help/article/ee-tv-support

NOW is available on a huge range of devices. EE TV customers can watch on 2 devices at once (as long as one is a EE TV Box and you start streaming in the correct order), or 3 if you have NOW Boost or Ultra Boost. If you're watching on a EE TV Box, to watch on 2 devices at once you'll need to leave the NOW channels and start watching on the NOW app. You can then return and watch NOW on your EE TV Box as well. You can watch live on your EE TV Box, and live or On Demand via the NOW app.

Good to know: If you're watching on two EE TV Boxes then you can start them in any order.

If you've just joined EE TV, you can start watching NOW straight away on any supported device while you wait for your EE TV box to arrive.
