Cutting a long story short…
We were with BT until 2 months ago and then moved to EE, our subscription to Discovery plus was also moved and all was working well until suddenly no Discovery plus on either TV or IPad.
99% on the time we only use it on the TV via Roku, after being pressured for over an hour I agreed to an EE box but was assured that I could still get it via Roku and that would work within an hour and the box could be plugged into another TV when it arrived.
Still no Discovery plus (or even TNT Sports, as the person at the other end kept calling it), anyone else in a similar situation?

Normally accounts are migrated from BT to EE, but in your case it's a whole new account - I'm guessing they had issues with the migration.
As a result, your discovery+ is just waiting to be activated again - you can log into ee.co.uk to do that and it should work instantly.

Unfortunately, I've checked with a colleague and there's nothing we can do to help at this point. It should have allowed you to activate, and we cannot see why it's not working for you.
Your full service is due to activate on Wednesday - if it's still failing on Thursday morning then we'll need to raise it as a fault.
