How do I find all the motorbike racing?

Hi there - I've just recently moved everything (broadband, TV and phone) to EE from Sky - after 16 years!

The reason being, I'm a big motorcycle racing fan and the World Superbikes and British Superbikes is leaving Eurosport at the end of the month.

I'm very pleased to have got the Sports package (including TNT sports) for half of what I was paying at Sky, but how can I find all the bike racing?

The World Superbikes is on there, but seems to be just highlights, and is on Discovery+. I can't find anything on TNT at all.

The British Superbikes only seems to have last years races on a Prime subscription - there aren't any of the future races listed. Now, I know the BSB doesn't start until May but searches don't show up anything...

Hi @elfredo

Welcome to the community.

From the 28th of February 2025 the Eurosport and TNT Sports brands will be brought together.

All your existing sports content currently on Eurosport 1 & 2 will be available on TNT Sports channels 1 to 4.

All TV customers with TNT Sports as part of their subscription have access to these channels through your set top box and through the discovery + App. If you're an app only subscriber, you'll find the channels there.

Any on-demand content currently in the discovery+ App is unaffected by this change and if you're an EETV subscriber, any recordings will remain until the 28th of March.

Well @elfredo The Australian round of the  Superbike World Championship was shown  live on TNT Sports   (21/2 to 23/2)  this weekend - I believe you should see the schedules under theTNT Sports 2 channels in the EPG. The free ptactice and races should be available on discovery+  The challenge with discovery +  is to find the content - if in doubt open the discovery+ app select Sports >All Sports>Superbikes and scroll down past the Highlights to the Date of coverage that you are interested in .

This is of course ahead of the dates that were quoted to you for sport moving across from Eurosport to TNT Sports,

.... I see you also asked about BSB (British Superbikes) they are there ond  can be accessed  on discovery+  . If you go back long enough in their Superbikes  to c 13 Oct2024 you should see the Eurosport replays. Alternatively when in discovery+app use search and enter string BSB.

Any issues with the accuracy of the EETV box searches only pointing at Prime Video (Discovery)  should be raised with EE as this is one area they really need to improve upon.

Hi, I have had a TNT subscription for a while and watched world superbikes live last weekend when Suzy Perry said BSB would also be here but I can’t find it searching on TNT Sport or Discovery + it might be cheaper than your Sky package but right now it feels like a complete rip off.😤

Can anyone help us to watch the British Superbikes we have paid for?

This isn't a sport I follow, but a quick Google suggests Round 1 for 2025 at Oulton Park isn't until 5th May - Bank Holiday Monday and is going to be Free to Air on Quest.

As @zulu17  has already suggested, a search in the discovery+ app using "BSB" brings up loads of 2024 on demand coverage and some from 2023.

What exactly are you looking for @LA100? The TV Guide will only show programming a week or so in advance and I'm not sure there is any coverage planned of testing etc.

One challenge  that the viewer/consumer  has is finding out what they what to know and where to find the content that is of interest to them is available as distinct from the information that the company  representatives and agents seem determined to promote. For an event that is still  few weeks away it is not suprising that it is promoted less than other events that have already started their competitions.

With respect to discovery  plus coverage

WBD provides the sports services (TNT Sports and Eurosport) through discovery+ on behalf of TNT Sports Broadcasting Limited,

If I do a search on EETV box searching for BSB I do eventually get "results" in the on demand  (i think on the most recent search  I attempted it was search result 60  of 63) for the discovery + player, The previous 59 search results were predominently for  Prime Video (who have a discovery subscription available at extra cost as an addon).

So why does EETV box not prominately display the BSB on demand programming to be found in the discovery+ player. There is a simple explanation -  ON EETV (Youview)  Prime video  included BSB in their primary title data  on Youview  , discovery+  decided to put their (BSB) programming in a "series" which they call British Premiership-Superbike which is their  primary title data  .

Unfortunately it has proved challenging to get people  in  WBD , Youview and EETV  to act to improve the perceived performance of search results to the benefit of the viewer. It affects several other sports.

Not quite. Warner Bros Discovery is the parent company, who operated the Eurosport & TNT channels/brands in the UK. They have closed Eurosport in the UK and have pooled all the rights into the TNT channels. Discovery+ is their branded streaming app.

TV platforms such as EE, Virgin Media & Sky are on a slight sticky wicket when they promote specific sports being available on specific channels. For as long as the broadcast rights agreements remain, you're OK. If broadcast rights change hands by virtue of a new broadcaster taking them over, platform providers need to be very careful with any advertising that covers them.

The statement

is from discovery+  on current promotional material (ie post Eurosport closure).

I use the Apple TV app to manage my on demand viewing and this app is also linked to the little known Apple Sports app, which provides scores on a mobile device, but will also alert you to a game starting and offer to take you to the relevant app.

I think it is a good additional example of your point because, despite the same integration between the discovery+ and Apple TV app, the notification (or almost any search I try), will take me to the content on discovery+ but through Prime Video, rather than direct to discovery+.
