Just turned on my box and it's interface is blue and not yellow, and it now says TalkTalk in the corner! Is this OK? I prefer the blue, anyone else?

I'm with TalkTalk and have been for a while, seems odd that it's taken this long to change. So which apps / channels are different. The apps look the same, maybe gb news is there now and it wasn't before? I think the app logos are smaller perhaps.

Edit: just noticed it says Unavailable at the top, please try again later, apps unavailable visit TalkTalketc.YVM502 But below that is the what's on TV now and below that is the featured apps like always. So what is the top column about with its apps unavailable?

@Grimble37 that suggests that Youview believe your box is connected to TalkTalk, is it ?

Assuming you don't have a TalkTalk broadband line at your home as well, it unfortunately means Openreach have accidentally mixed up the port that your broadband is connected to at the other end.

Please get in touch by calling the helpdesk, so that a fault can be raised and your line corrected.

Until this is fixed, you'll find that some channels and apps will have disappeared from your TV Box.

I've had the box a couple of month, and it has been ee logo all that time and yellow looking, but yes, it's just dawned on me that I am actually with TalkTalk now (as it used to be Shell) I prefer the black/blue I don't suppose there's any down sides to this is there?

@Grimble37 , if you are with talktalk as your broadband, then that is why it will not work, as it is an EE box.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

I'm guessing you turn your TV Box off when you're not using it? It will have picked up the changed brand the next time it checked for software updates, which usually happens overnight.

As you're not with EE TV, you'll lose access to the EE TV internet channels and the EE TV app. I'm not sure what other apps you'll lose access to - that depends what TalkTalk have agreed to provide on their YouView service.

I'm afraid we're not able to support any issues you have with this configuration.

@Grimble37   YouView builds  software that powers TV discovery and viewing experiences for EE TV, TalkTalk TV, Freely and Sony . So EE and Talk Talk have agreed customised  home pages etc to present their TV services, if Youview detect that your ISP is EE/BT or TalkTalk you will get their home pages etc, presenting their TV services.. if you are with a different ISP  Youview provide a more generic home page etc,

So because you are on TalkTalk you get  a Youview(TalkTalk) home page etc. But as you are using an EETV box pro it  is likely that TalkTalk home page was never enhanced to cater for that paticular box so you are probably getting a home page layout more relevant to earlier generations of boxes..

Suggest you enquire on TalkTalks own community forum as I imagine  some of their broadband customers may be using BT or EE boxes.

I'm not complaining I was just intrigued, it's absolutely fine, everything works, I prefer it now as the colour scheme is cool grey/blue rather than that awful ee yellow.

It's missing something at the top but I can't even remember what that was so can't have been anything important, think it's just adverts or something.

I've never had any ee internet channels, never paid for them, don't want them, just happily using the box for free with freeview and all the apps like Netflix, prime and appletv mainly at the moment. If I need Disney then I just flick over to my nowtv stick.
