EE tv using ubiquiti udm pro

I've just switched to EE and I'd like to use my existing ubiquiti network. I have the tv package and I am looking for a solution that does not result in double NATing. Is this possible?

It's a fairly common question on https://community.bt.com/ but so far I don't think anyone has managed to work out how to configure it in a way that allows the IP channels on the TV Box Pro or TV Box Mini to work.  It's not a supported setup, so I'm afraid you'll not get any help from BT or EE.

If you chose the Apple TV option, then everything should work fine - no special setup required.

I'm still being told swapping to EE TV is not possible and it really doesn't seem to be a priority to address but that aside...

I have a UDM Pro directly connected to the 2.5Gbps port on the network termination and it's working absolutely fine but the part you're more likely to be interested in... my old BT TV box seems to work without any BT/EE kit in the network. Previously, without the BT router (also then needed for the landline that we've now retired), the TV box would revert to an old Freeview box and constantly complain - right now it's entirely happy...

Perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel...

Are you referring to the branding @BeansOnToast79 ?  The only thing the box has ever cared about for branding is the broadband line it's connected to - the router being used has never mattered.

To be able to watch internet channels though ... that's where using a non BT router can cause problems.  Is this working for you?

As far as I can tell right now, everything is working that used to. It’s now branded as EE but it’s still BT TV in there really.

Its difficult to give a definitive as it’s the old service until the issues with provisioning the new one are resolved!
