does anyone else experience the EETV box resetting itself overnight and not responding. Having called 150 I’ve had to reset using home and 7 button which does work but irritating as it takes time and you have to re log into all the apps
just asking to understand if I request a new tv box or if this is a common issue experienced more widely
only recently joined EE TV as got very frustrated with virgin media unresolved issues and poor response. Currently been waiting for 40 mins on 150 and fully expect to get cut off as it nears 8pm.

@JS1972 I'm sorry that's happening. You're resetting the remote by pressing home and 7. I'd recommend trying a reset of the box, give it a go and let me know if this helps.

happy to try that but my primary concern is that I need to do a reset in the first place. Once is ok, but ….. We have had EE tv for a month and this is the third time it has happened. Even when switching off and restarting it freezes and the home /7 reset is the only thing that works.
is this a fault?!

Home and 7 only resets the remote though. When you do that, do you then also get taken through the setup experience? i.e. shown the intro video, taken through channel tuning, etc? Or do you just reset the remote, and you go straight back into watching TV?
