Hi All
my BT TV remote would allow me to press down on the OK button to restart a program on BBC (and some other channels) My new EE remote does not have this functionality on the OK button. Is this functionality not supported on the EE remote or have I missed something. I know that I can go to iplayer but this was a really good and quick option. TIA
Janet

Does it not show a "Press green to restart" prompt in the top right corner? I switched to Apple TV a while ago, so can't remember for sure.

‘Down’ now gives you On Now, a series of thumbnails of what’s on, on each channel, that you can scroll down.
BBC programmes will initially pop up a message top right to say ‘Press Green to restart in iPlayer’, which you can choose; but even if you ignore it and the message closes, you can still press the green button at any time later during the programme to restart in iPlayer.

@JJ219 @Midnight_Voice
if watching a BBC. Programme the easiest way to restart it would be to press the green button on remote and it launches in IPlayer .
you could alternatively press the OK button and then the down button and navigate across to the Start Again option which if selected would also would launch in the IPlayer . ( so typically 5 button presses]

Which would be great if it worked on other channels, but only the BBC ones seem to have this button.
In Northampton, where I were dragged up, this would be known as ‘going round Far Cotton to get to St James’ 😛

@Midnight_Voice yes that is disappointing , clearly Youview provides the capability but presumably either the data provided by the other broadcasters and/or their apps are lacking.
