EE TV Player

Since Saturday 26 of September 2026 I am unable to watch live TV on my laptop, I get the error code WP4012. I have tried reinstalling EE TV Player without any success. The TV box works ok, What needs to be done?

Are you able to watch the motoGP on HBO Max as an alternative to EETV player if issue not resolved  in time?

Unfortunately we cannot support all hardware.  I cannot explain why yours has stopped working, and the only remaining suggestion I can make is that you try a Windows reset or use a different device.

Not exactly the most helpful comment from ""EE Product expert" support! I managed to fix it following the instructions here How to Fix “Wi-Fi Doesn’t Have a Valid IP Configuration” on Windows 11 26H2 - Tech2Geek

Hopefully this will helpsomeone in the future.

So a windows issue & not an EE one then, hardly one for an EE product expert

Great that it's fixed, but that networking issue is nothing to do with the WP4012 issue. 

I'm confused though - if you were offline (which that article fixes), you wouldn't have even reached the screen that would show the error?
