Discovery plus broadband disconnects

I am already experiencing problems with sound on Discovery plus when I lose sound after an ad break which I have discussed here.

I also have a problem watching Discovery plus (Smallest Cog, and Vinny Jones on catch up) in the evenings. Whilst watching these shows we get a message flash up saying 'broadband disconnected'.  About 15 seconds later the programme freezes for a short while, then we get a message 'broadband reconnected' and the show continues. My connection to the EE box is wired so I can't see how we lose any signal.

Anyone else experiencing BB dropping out on Discovery plus?

Which EE BB plan are you on including its speed? What EE router do you have (read its label or post a pix)?

BB disconnected means the connection to the BB network has gone down.

I have essentials full fibre gigabit with wifi 7 router. Apparently all singing all dancing best you can get.

Been with  EE a month.

i am paying £8.99 for the disney+ add on  and have found that i have a direct acct costing  me more so how do i remove and get refund for the charges made for this.

Well here I am again.

There is a new series of the Smallest Cog on Discovery plus and it keeps losing broadband for 15 seconds. 

I've googled it and found my original post about this problem (which I can forgotten about)!

Is it the smallest cog causing the problem?

Thanks for coming back to us. 

I'm sorry to hear you're losing connection when watching the Smallest Cog on Discovery.

Could you try restarting your streaming device and your router,  then check for any app/system updates. It's also worth clearing the app's cache to see if this helps.
