I noticed through various online TV news outlets about the DAZN sport app being added to the pro box and edge boxes but no official announcements on here. 

There are some free live streams but when you click on those on the pro box it just seems to crash and then goes back to the main EE TV screen, when they play on android mobiles. 

Not sure if it is just for the free streams as I don't have a separate subscription.

The announcement was posted yesterday, but on the home screen rather than specifically in this forum.

Where did you find the free streams?  Did you need to log in for that?

You can create a free account for DAZN on the website or mobile app and link it to the pro box and then the free streams are viewable on the app main screen when there is no padlock on the image.

Effectively you register with DAZN   , login and you normally see the standard DAZN menu - and select the (unlocked) free content .

typical free content is NCAA sport.

The blog announcement on the community refereed people to DAZN for support. At least one report of problem was reported to DAZN support on Wednesday.

There is no issue in logging in- (the user is recognised  and shown as logged in )  - nor in selecting the content - it is just when hitting play to load does not succeed in playing rather it fails with no errors and exits, This occurs for live and replay streams.

I've created and account and verified this for myself - the app crashes when trying to watch any video.  I've raised it with the team, and will update when I know more.

We have an account has we watch basketball on DAZN all the time but in our iPads. Tried a few times last night to use on our tv. I linked my tv but still nothing . Very frustrating

DAZN last night confirmed that they could reproduce the issue, but only with free accounts, and only on the TV Box Pro.  Paid subscriptions appear to work correctly on the Pro, and all accounts are working on the TV Box Edge.

Initial indications suggest the issue may be with the TV Box Pro attempting to show ads before the video starts.

It's being investigated as a top priority.

Just a though that the last time the edge box could handle something that the pro box couldn't to my knowledge was the FAST channels on prime video.
