The recent changes to the tv home page are dreadful. Accessing the required section is no longer straightforward. Is it possible to revert to the previous layout?
Why were these changes made? The claim that it is more streamlined is fatuous at best

and exactly the same comments were made the last time the home page was changed, and the time before that, and the…well you get my point……this new iteration, with the bar on the side, brings it into line with other streaming apps if nothing else, and as with most things, will be become second nature to navigate in time

Totally agree. Updated tonight and it is awful. Change for change sake. More cumbersome to use. Awful headliner at top of guide. Locating my tv recordings cumbersome. Whoevever approved these changes is obviously not an EE TV user.

I also agree that these changes are disappointing, especially for those of us using Aerial-mode (so we can Record up to 4 Channels from TV EPG).The "What's on TV now" for us is a waste of space as those show Channels 1,2 etc. and our BBC1 ,BBC2 etc. in HD are Channels 101,102 etc..Also our Scheduled Recordings are no longer easily available from MYTV but only by back-tracking to the Side-Panel.

So flaming difficult to navigate. EE can I revert to the previous home page?

Bringing a common look to the home pages may be welcomed by some . HOWEVER the Box Pro is actively marketed and promoted as a recording device for linear TV channels and therefore customers would expect the home page for that device to make it convienent and straightforward to manage ,schedule , track and watch recordings. That is something the streaming only devices do not do.
The other issue that I have pointed out before is that the screens layouts seem less and less accessible . Youview and its partners (including BT/EE) do need to ensure that if they wish to freshen up the interface that they do continue to prove an accessible option in line with their user interface policy

Totally agree. It's very frustrating when all you want to do is look at the guide. I know is probably a case of "hating change" and 'we'll get used to it" but it's three steps do something rather than the one is used to be. When I turn my TV and box the home screen shows automatically. If I want to stay on the same channel I used to be able to press back to get rid of it, now I have to wait until it disappears automatically which takes an age, or go to menu on the left, press guide and ok to that channe. And don't get me started on in trying to get to my recorded programmes. Utter waste of time
