Can't access Discovery+ from my new EE tv pro box

Hi, I just signed up with EE internet after being with BT. I signed up for the Sports pack. Unexpectedly 2 boxes turned, which I've connected fine. I get Now Sports and TNT Sports ok through the box.

However -

I can't access TNT sports on my laptop or tablet

I can't access Discovery+ on my tv box, laptop or tablet.

I keep trying to register these devices but I end up at an EE webpage which requires a one time passcode which I can't get because I don't have an EE phone.

I haven't tried ringing EE yet but I have tried webchats with Discovery+ which just go round in circles. I do have an EE login, and a Discovery+ login.

Any help appreciated.

Does it actually require an EE mobile phone, and not a mobile phone with any provider?

*Longtime YouView box owner & broadband customer (was BT now EE), but only recently a full EETV subscriber*

Welcome to the Community, 

Are you following the activation steps for Discovery+ through Activate Discovery Plus | BT page? 
You just need to log into your BT account to activate. 

Alternatively, log in to My BT and select Your Products, then look for Broadband and select Manage. 
Look for the discovery+ tile and choose Activate.

Let us know how you get on.

No, it really does require an EE mobile.

 

I'm just going round and round in circles.

When I access Discovery+ through any site, including BT I can't access anything without paying.

When I go to My Products and choose Discovery+ then it says I need to pay to subscribe even though it's supposed to be in my EE subscription.

Thanks for confirming. 

If discovery+ is not showing in your products and this should be part of your package, I'd recommend getting in touch

With account access our customer care team will be able to get this resolved for you.

I have tried, but the support team is really struggling with this one. The latest error message says 

The Lambda function associated with the CloudFront distribution is invalid or doesn't have the required permissions. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time.#

Nice clear error messages there. 🙂
