EE have I believed provided HD in EETV Big Sport packages taken out since December 2024.
if you are on legacy packages taken out with EE before or with packages taken out with BT they do not include it without purchasing a monthly addon.
Note that it would be your Broadband contract that EETV Big Sport is available with.

I took this package out with BT when they originally launched it, and I refused to pay extra just to get these sports channels on HD on principal really than anything else Since then EE have taken control of all customer facing assets BT held, and let's just say I have 'the works'. I have a phone contract, phone, broadband and TV all provided by EE. My phone contract is due for renewal in January 26 and imgoing for the unlimited SIM only £11/month deal and I was going to ask for my Big Sports package to be upgraded to view in HD content for no extra charge. I mean by now HD is pretty much standard, and even my nan has a HD TV courtesy of me upgrading my Bravia XR. And I want to time my next phone contract renewal for when the PS6 is launched to get a deal for that in with my phone in 2027.

So if someone from EE can let me know and it will save me an extra trip down to your store in Swansea Morfa

I mean I know this might sound obvious which is why I'm sure sneaky little clauses will have been inserted in a bid to nickel and dine every customer because nothing really comes for free, we all end up paying in someway or somehow, but...
What if I decided to downgrade my TV package and take big sport off. And then after a month or so put it back on... Or will they just hit me with a plethora of hidden admin charges and such like. I'm really not that desperate to get it in HD but I am adamant that I'm not paying extra for it in this day and age.

@Scombes My interpretation would be that you are on a specific legacy EETV package and that if you opted to flex that retaining the existing minumum period to change the content you would do that at the standard prices for that specific EETV package (ie you are on a legacy package that doesn't include HD as standard for Sport or Big Sport only for Full Works).
EE have made everything far more complex than it should ideally be and with many functions requiring calling customer service and then the operatives undrerstanding their products and systems.

@Scombes the included HD for Sport was was added at the same time that the package price was changed. If you cancel Sport and then add it again, your Sport will be at the new price and will include HD.
