Is it possible to have an EETV box pro, but have no addons. So I get just the freeview channels and recording facility. And what would the cost be.

My contract for that is up for renewal in 3 weeks time.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Try phoning EE. There is a no frills package buried in the BT website but there is no cost listed. If they say it's no longer available, at least you've tried and then you could go down the Argos (other stores are available) route.

@robh661  You get what’s offered if that includes Netflix/Now TV then you get that.   There is no TV subscription for just free view

You’ll be better off purchasing something like THIS  and only having EE broadband and using an aerial via the TV

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I phoned EE, as I also needed to downgrade the router as I didnt need wi-fi 7 after all . And it would save me £10 a month as it was an add on. But when I discussed the TV box, he said I couldn’t have the box without some form of subscription included.

So thanks for your help.

@DarrenDev I believe you had said to me on a previous conversation thread that people could request no frills tv by requesting it on the phone specifically?

I said that the package exists - not that it could be ordered on request.  I don't know the current eligibility requirements.
