BT TV to EE TV - wrong box

Hi, newbie here, after being forced from BT TV to EE TV. I've been sent me a replacement TV Box which is rather small compared to my old BT TV box and on searching, it appears I've been sent a 'mini'. I've read I should have been sent a TV Box Pro, and that I can order a free 'mini' box to run in a second room. I can;t seem to find anything on the EE site, and get pushed back to the BT site when searching anything to do with EE TV.

I thought BT TV was now EE TV, so is it just me, or is this so confusing? I can't get through via telephone to ask anyone or place an order for a new box and there's no 'chat' function so I'm having to resort to the forum. Hope you can help.

Sorry to hear that @minesabud

The EE web site and ordering process is still being updated, so there are a lot of links back to the BT site where the information is still relevant.

You should have been sent a TV Box Pro - give us a call to fix it (sorry that call queues are quite long), and add the multiroom subscription (at no charge).

Thanks @DarrenDev. I have called, and wow, what a can of worms it's opened.

I find I've not signed up to EE, I still have a BT TV package. ME - So why did you send me a new EE box?

EE - It was sent as you reported a problem with your BT vision box.

ME - No I didn't, it was working perfectly. I thought you'd sent it as you were switching all BT customers to EE, like you have recently with my neighbour. My neighbour reported a problem with her BT vision box.

EE - Ah, we appear to have your neighbour and your addresses and accounts mixed up on our system. I'll look into it and call you back before 8pm.

ME - I received no callback.

Just amazing!
