BT/EE TV App - Device problem

Hi, I had 2 fire tablet devices registered out of the 4 slots available. I was having issues downloading films I purchased, so suspecting the issue was with my tablets, I did a factory reset and have re-downloaded the app.

This has now taken me over my device limit, but I am also unable to download the films I want, as its saying I have reached the maximum amount of registered devices.

Would it be possible to have a device reset please?

@Minkey1  I trust that if you have Broadband  with EE now you are using your EE ID details to login rather than the BT ID you had from your BT days.

@zulu17

They’re the same.

I really must start taking pw security more seriously

I had a Box Mini before I had an EETV account. Probably the least useful EETV box in such circumstances, but it could still be persuaded to serve up the included apps, even though IP live channels were out of the question 😛

The mini box we have in the kitchen is used daily and the non smart telly it’s attached to has it as the HDMI source permanently. It’s about the only element of our BT>EE transition which could be regarded as a success.

The Pro box in the living room we use about once a month. Casual recording I can do on the TV.

The EETV app I only open to have a laugh. It tells me it can’t trace a Sports subscription. Natch. I don’t subscribe to Sports. But the error does disable app functionality. So generally I leave it alone.

🤷🏼
