Apple TV subscription

When I signed up to EETV I switched my subscriptions for Now TV and Apple TV over to EETV. Apple TV had a 3 month free offer, and that has now expired.

I was expecting the subscription to continue, with me having to pay the monthly cost from month 4 onward, but it has simply expired, and I need to reactivate it. When I tried renewing the subscription, I got a message about needing to renew on an Apple device. The only one I have is a flaky, ancient iPod, which takes days to charge and does not hold charge for any length of time.

Is there a workaround that anyone can suggest?

Potentially @Jaggies  may be eligiible for the EE promoted Six months free Apple TV offer

The Offer is available to customers on a new EE TV plan with a 24-month minimum
term.
