Appalling service. No access to online account, buffering and freezing streaming

I foolishly switched from BT to EE last week - the letter I received from BT announcing that Full Fibre was now available to me in my area made no mention of terminating my BT connection and moving to EE. EE wasn't even mentioned. I feel well and truly scammed. Still no access to my online account. Still buffering and freezing while streaming in the evening, rendering it unusable.. Yet I'm sitting here now, 7.40am, 05/03/2025, watching on iplayer with no problems whatsoever. I'm on EE Full Fibre 900, watching via a Firestick into the back of a 16 year old Panasonic plasma tv. I also had no issues, morning, noon, or night, when I was on BT Smart Hub with a far lower speed.

Can anyone explain this? Why can't I stream in the evening? Why can't I access my online account to see how much I'm paying and what I'm paying for? I have less than a week to terminate the contract after the cooling off period. If I have to terminate I will go to the Ombudsman and the newspapers, as well as Watchdog. This lot need to be exposed.

Do you think a 48” would look a bit big in the corner? This is my Panasonic plasma. It’s a 37” screen but 43” diagonal if you include the frame!

@Bewdley13 Size will probably be ok, it's all going to be about the stand / feet type, so cabinet size you have, tape measure out and take dimensions etc with you when you go to look at them. Most modern are slim bezel so you will have a little overhang on the sides. Happy shopping barter the price down....

@JimM11

I made a stripwood frame of the right h x w to ensure the C3 55 would fit at the angle we needed.

I don’t have OCD. Not at all. No.

@Minkey1 And i bet all your hidden cables are standing to attention, straight as can be laced all together neat and tidy, even though you cannot see them but you know the OCD is always there....

We hung our 48” C2 on the bedroom wall. The wires come down in a neat channel to and from the bits of kit on the right. The builders put a wall plate up that we mounted the TV over, that brings in Freeview and Freesat (and Sky had we wanted it) plus mains and Ethernet, though now we have the Box Pro we don’t use the Ethernet any more.

@JimM11

Aerial, power, speaker, ethernet, HDMI cables between router, TV, Pro box, amp, 4k disc Player, ethernet switch, and AppleTV. I try so hard to clip everything up along the back. And it still ends up spider heaven and a rat’s nest. I have sleepless nights thinking about it.

@Midnight_Voice

I’d have expected a networked Teasmade there🧐

Slacker.

@Minkey1 That's at the other side out off view, kettle to keep the water ready so no OCD trips to the sink.
