I've switched over to Prime on my firestick as the liverpool match vs Galatasary was a about 1min+ behind real-time.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

@MattFriend101  Thats because it’s via the internet.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I get that chris but its very poor and compared to Sky & VirginMedia awful. Really wish I hadnt made the change to EE now if im honest.  Thankfully I had my firestick ans tv to switch to Prime on those.

What were you using before you switched to the Fire Stick? The TV Box should be ahead of the Fire Stick, and the Apple TV should be around the same as it. There's no reason for your Fire Stick to be ahead of any of the other options from EE TV.

Last night I was using the EETV box firstly using its Prime app and the game had kicked off but it hadnt started on the TV for around a minute, so I switched over to use the Prine app on the firestick.

Sorry, my mistake - you were referring to Prime rather than discovery.

The Prime Video app is entirely distributed and managed by Amazon across all platforms. We're not aware of any reason why the app on the EE TV box would be any further behind than other platforms, but you'd need to ask Amazon that. It's worth giving it another try, in case it just had a little trouble starting the stream yesterday.

Thanks Darren, but we've not been impressed with EETV, since we switched from VirginMedia in July. Just one think after another tbh.

Couple of observations - the prime video apps on diffferent devices  have different features and may perform differently. Amazon will be responsible for all the apps but may be restricted by the devices capabilities.

The Box Pro app is lacking features that exist on the Box Mini (eg Fast channels). There are other forum threads that address this issue and the reasons.

For watching live sport such as the Tuesday UEFA Champions League game  on Prime Video the option to pause and rewind( the current live stream) is provided on many   devices but not currently the (Youview) EE TV Box devices.
