I already have a long-standing Sky tv contract that includes Discovery+ FOC. How do I activate TNT Sports via Discovery+ as it says it's not possible when I look to upgrade bin-app. I don't want to subscribe to EE TV on top of my Sky contract - it's already costing me enough & I don't want to surrender Sky as there are many complimentary subscriptions included that I don't want to lose access to.

If your Sky TV contract includes discovery+ FOC then you need to activate via them. If it doesn't include sport (i.e. is only the Entertainment package) then you'd need to speak to Sky about upgrading it.
Alternatively, if you want to add discovery+ to your EE Broadband you can give the helpdesk a call - I don't believe it can currently be ordered online (happy to be proven wrong).
Finally, there is the option to add it as an add-on to an EE mobile contract - you can do this in the EE app or on the web site.

Where is the EE connection here?
Is your TNT Sports an add-on to a mobile contract?
If so, you activate it by going to ee.co.uk/TNTSports
Whether this can be activated on an account already linked to another provider is something im not sure of, you may have to create a separate Discovery+ account if the linking fails.

I take it you don't subscribe to TNT Sport at all including via Sky? The inclusive Discovery+ from the likes of Sky doesn't include TNT Sport without that.
Assuming that is the case, you will need to subscribe to TNT Sport. You can do that either via Sky, which will give it to you on your Sky channels as well as the app, Discovery+ directly [which will be a different log-on to Discovery+] or elsewhere such as some of the phone packages from the likes of EE. The latter two will give it on the app, whether the app on Sky or elsewhere..
