With the proposed £11 being debated by parliament to be used to fund the BBC. This is something EE needs to take a stand on.

I have made the choice long time ago not to have a TV. This is because i refuse to pay for a licence so no TV for me.

With this being debated in parliament to be used to fund the BBC as they are not getting what they need to operate, oh well not my problem F the BBC.

I am stating here now, EE needs to stand and block this the BBC needs to be turned in to a subscription service so them who do like that type of garbage pay it.

I REFUSE TO PAY FOR IT.

when parliament have done there bit and this then appears on my bills as it will be on MULTIPLE bills. i will treat it as end of contract.

Protect your customers EE. block this.

Have you ever heard of OFCOM?, at the moment we have a little thing called "The Online Safety Act" , right as we speak websites & companies EVEN overseas are being fined millions or being shut down for not complying with it HUGE companies Bigger than EE , who do you think will be enforcing this charge if it comes in to being ? .......OFCOM its the governments pet Regulator .

& also why would EE "opt to withdraw services they offer to the government that we are not meant to know about" , why would they do that ?, i mean if these things actually exist they would be doing themselves out of guaranteed Billions a year ? , they wouldn't do it  & in any case OFCOM would fine them out of existence.

I hate the BBC as much as you but if you think ISPs are going to stick their heads on OFCOMs Chopping block for us think again , fact is EE are operating ion the UK,  as a legit Business they have to abide by UK law to be able to operate (same for ALL ISPs) , sucks but it is what it is

@Kamiashi    I see both sides of this.  Those that choose not to watch live broadcasts so choose not to pay for a licence and that’s your right shouldn’t be forced to pay even via a BB service.
But those that do pay for a licence and should it be at £11 will now have a reduced bill for that service.   So it’s a loose/win situation.  The BBC should be a subscription based but with that I can see it’s demise and it definitely shouldn’t be it’s going to be applied to your broadband just because you’ve got broadband,   At what point do you bin off the TV ?
