Roaming charges

On the app I’m told that I can use my phone without incurring roaming charges in France and Germany (as well as other countries). In May I was charged £2 per day when I was in Germany. I’m currently in France and wondering whether I am going to be charged or not. Anyone know?

Are you using a pay as you go or pay monthly plan?

Are you able to share a screenshot of the app stating EU roaming is included?
