This is abysmal for me as I do support work for a company in Australia & we do   major systems restarts & upgrades  overnight / Sunday morning. I read if there is a problem easy just to get onto the community which is of course impossible as my fone reports emergency calls only. How am I able to post this message ? well I have to keep a spare ifone and a sim from another provider to set up a hotspot for times like this 2nd time in a week ; not great service

What services are you having problems with, is this EE mobile?

Is anything reported under "check status" on https://coverage.ee.co.uk/coverage/ee

Anytime you have indoor coverage issues for whatever reason, you can use WiFI-calling to continue using your phone without any need for mobile coverage.

@topendtrev , do you now have signal? EE are not responsible for signal inside a building, do you have signal outside? As @bristolian has written, where signal is poor, that is where wifi calling is useful, so long as you have fixed broadband and set up wifi calling on your phone.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
