how is it even possible for someone to use my number on WhatsApp to be able to fool my dad into sending him £1700 ??
it's a new number that I haven't even used with my dad on WhatsApp yet so I have no trace of my alleged side of the conversation that happened between them on my WhatsApp
the bank are being generous because he's and old man and been fooled by the unfortunate coincidence that I was on a flight at the time so he couldn't even ring my other line to check with me and the scammers insisting that they couldn't talk right now seemed legitimate to him.
however they told him it's my phone that's been hacked...how ? where ? do I need to change my number now ??
this is creepy to think someone's using my number on WhatsApp
