We stepchange called me today. I’ve never missed a payment. Why would they call?

Hi so I’ve had this number a couple of times but I’ve always been too busy to fully take the call (also wasn’t sure if it was legit as it didn’t have anything to identify it to EE). I checked the number today and it’s from StepChsnge. I checked my ee account and I’ve never missed a bill so there’s no reason why they would call and I’m really worried now. What could it be? Thanks

As a wild stab-in-the-dark guess, could someone have given them your mobile number in error?
Otherwise the only way you'll find it out is by calling them to enquire. No harm can come of asking them.
